What is Civil War News Magazine?

Civil War News is the magazine of record for the Civil War community, published continuously since 1974 by Historical Publications LLC of Blue Ridge, Georgia. It covers battlefield preservation, historic sites, artifacts and collecting, arms and equipment, reenacting, book reviews, and the national calendar of Civil War shows and events.

How often is Civil War News published?

Civil War News publishes bimonthly in magazine format. It ran as a monthly newspaper until May–June 2024, when it converted to the current bimonthly magazine.

How much does a subscription cost?

A one-year subscription to Civil War News is $34.95 and a two-year subscription is $59.95, handled through SimpleCirc.
